Ibn Battuta Mall
The largest themed shopping mall in the world, Ibn Battuta Mall, was created in honor of the illustrious Moroccan explorer of the same name. Ibn Battuta Mall is one of Dubai's top shopping locations because of its magnificent decor, wonderful entertainment options, and approximately 300 retailers. It also offers outstanding food, three hotels, and convenient transportation alternatives.
The Ibn Battuta Mall alone is a fantastic (and cost-free) pastime, with vibrant architecture and engaging exhibits to explore. Each court in the mall—China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia, and Andalusia—is named after a place where Ibn Battuta stopped during his travels: China Court has a full-size ship, India Court has a full-size elephant clock, a medieval water clock with moving wooden dragons and phoenixes, and Andalusia Court has a stone fountain of lions.
Other things to do at Ibn Battuta include Sky Zone, one of the best trampoline parks in Dubai, and Kidz Palooza, which has a soft play area for young kids and wonderful paint and pottery studios where the whole family can create art together. The Ibn Battuta Mall includes a large selection of restaurants, including national chains like Nando's and Pizza Express. The majority of the eateries are in the China Court, while the Persia Court and Tunisia Court have casual food courts. There are many individual and regional eateries in the mall, including Coterie Kitchen, which serves a fantastic roast dinner, Off The Hook, which serves opulent seafood, and Gazebo, which serves superb Indian cuisine.
