A free IQ exam is one of many cognitive and memory-related tests offered by the IQ exam Center. In fact, the website groups IQ tests by age, starting with those for 4-year-olds and going all the way up to those for 14-year-olds and exams for geniuses.

IQ tests aren't thought to be accurate for those with extremely low or extremely high IQs. The best way to assess intellect at these levels is through one-on-one exams using extremely specialized criteria because they do not provide adequate grades.

A child's IQ is thought to begin developing at age 4, but because this is such a young age, a low or high IQ at this time does not necessarily indicate future brilliance. It does, however, provide you a starting point and let you keep track of a child's growth as they get older.

Younger children's IQ tests are simpler and focus more on spatial thinking based on picture questions rather than verbal questions, as would be expected.
