Irish Medical Times
The Irish Medical Times is a weekly online newspaper dedicated to Irish doctors. It was founded in 1967 by John O'Connell, who became Minister of Health. The Irish Medical Times brings readers news, features, clinical articles, interviews, and medical opinions frequently cited as news sources in the national Irish media. Reportedly, the Irish Medical Times ran the annual Irish Healthcare Awards in October, with the awards ceremony taking place at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin.
The Irish Medical Times will typically carry out display advertising, specialist recruitment, event and announcement advertising, as well as a portion of classified advertising in the medical field. The Irish Medical Times took home the Irish Periodicals Association's 'Website of the Year' award in December 2008.
