Jack Sprat

In 2001, Jack Sprat begins working with Frans and Jen Weits. Two mountain-loving Michiganders decided to bring fresh cuisine to the Girdwood Valley. The goal was to bring individuals from all walks of life together to eat under one roof. To establish a space where meat and vegan meals could coexist peacefully. Food is important, but so is the environment in which you enjoy it with your company. They are ecstatic to be able to provide excellent meals to their guests. They hope their creativity provides you with food and delight.

Their mission is to use cuisine to nourish, educate, and inspire our guests. Each plate is a mosaic of the best seasonal ingredients they have at their disposal. They use organic and local products, and their seafood is caught sustainably in Alaska. They only utilize the highest-quality, humanely-raised meats and poultry. With each new menu, they introduce new flavors from throughout the world.
