Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve, China

Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve is situated in Sichuan province, about one hour's flight from Chengdu. The park, located high in the highlands, is renowned for its numerous crystal-clear glacial lakes. Jiuzhaigou attracts fall enthusiasts because of its colorful foliage, especially in October. The Jiuzhaigou valley's woods exhibit a stunning red-gold color in the fall.
