John Lobb
John Lobb Bootmaker is a company that manufactures and retails a luxury brand of shoes and boots, primarily for men but also for women. Now, the company is continuing its bespoke shoemaking tradition in Paris while also incorporating essential bespoke elements into the production of its ever-expanding ready-to-wear shoe collection. Wallets and belts are also available in leather.
In 1976, the Hermès Group purchased John Lobb, generating the most turmoil. The London bespoke workshop, John Lobb Ltd, on the other hand, has remained in the family's hands and operates independently from its facilities at 9 St James's Street. Hermès owns the bespoke atelier in Paris, the By Request service, and the ready-to-wear range, as well as all of the other John Lobb boutiques. John Lobb established its Northampton workshop in 1994, where the ready-to-wear brand is being designed and handmade today. John Lobb's ancient traditions of great quality, fine craftsmanship, comfort, durability, and elegance are carried on in all of its shoes.
