Jungle Gym in Nashville, Tennessee
Next time you visit the Nashville Zoo, be sure to visit this large and creative play area - Jungle Gym. The playground is inside the zoo, so you have to pay to enter the zoo. It may not be very big for some parks, but this playground is even cooler as it is considered the largest community-built playground in the United States.
Jungle Gym offers over 66,000 square feet of space and features a child-friendly wooden play area where children can run around like wild animals. In the center of the area is a treehouse that looks like a huge wooden tower that can reach 35 feet tall. Cross bridges, climb nets or glide down snake tunnels. The design includes many little shelters that the kids will love.
