Kafka on the Shore
Kafka on the Shore is a novel by Japanese author Haruki Murakami that was first published in 2002. The novel is a surreal and dreamlike work in which two parallel narratives eventually converge. The first story follows Kafka Tamura, a fifteen-year-old boy who flees his home in Tokyo in search of a lost memory and his long-lost mother and sister.
