Kanuga Conferences
Kanuga, like every wedding, is one-of-a-kind. Kanuga is a non-profit conference, retreat, and camp that was founded in 1928 and is linked with The Episcopal Church. It serves 35,000 attendees per year. Kanuga's historic setting, nestled on 1,400 tranquil acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Hendersonville, NC, features a 30-acre lake and 18,000 square feet of full-service meeting/event facilities that can accommodate up to 440 guests.
Kanuga's historic Chapel of the Transfiguration, erected in 1940, or three outdoor chapels: the Pavilion on Kanuga Lake, St. Francis Chapel, in the forest next to a stream, and a third setting on a secluded hilltop are all options for your wedding ceremony. There are also other outdoor venues available, such as open fields and mountain summits. With so much area to work with, the possibilities for making your dream wedding a reality at Kanuga are nearly limitless.
