Khalid Wad Albaih
Khalid Albaih or Khalid Wad Albaih is a Sudanese political cartoonist, civil rights activist, and freelance journalist, who grew up as a member of the Sudanese diaspora in Doha, Qatar. He has published his social and political caricatures and articles mainly in Arab and international online media, and his graphic art has also been publicly exhibited internationally. In 2019, and collaboration with the German Cultural Center in Khartoum, Albaih co-edited an illustrated book, titled Sudan Retold. This art book presents artistic drawings of Sudanese history by 30 different young Sudanese artists, including graphic stories about the country's colonial history, cartoons about diverse languages its, and the changing ideals of feminine beauty in Sudan.
Khalid Wad Albaih is a famous cartoonist in the top 10, his talent for creating some of the best cartoons around cannot go unnoticed. However, he currently lives in Qatar. His expertise is in the field of producing political cartoons that send different messages. He rose to fame after his work was published on social media in 2011.
