The restaurant is named after the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire and befittingly serves traditional Mongolian fare, with dishes such as bantan cream soup – a soup of lamb, flour, and onions. In fact, Khara Khorum is renowned for serving some of the best khuushuur,a pan-fried dumpling traditionally filled with minced lamb, in the capital.
