Yoo Kihyun is best known for being the lead vocalist of the boy band. He contributes to the writing and composition of their songs as well. He is dubbed as the "K-Pop God"; "Vocal God" and "The K in K-Pop", is well-known around the globe for his unique vocal. He has an impressive vocal range.

He is one of the top vocalists from third-generation K-Pop groups because of his exceptional talent to astonish everyone with a single note. With the release of "Voyager" in March 2022, he made his solo debut, his single album, Kihyun, has also been part of many original soundtracks. What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?, Suspicious Partner, and many other K-Dramas have had his original soundtracks contributed.
