King's College School Murcia at La Torre Golf Resort, offers the British National Curriculum for students aged 18 months to 18 years. As the only institution in Murcia to offer the IB Diploma Program in English, the school opens pathways to elite opportunities domestically and internationally. The admission process at King's College Murcia is designed to ensure a seamless transition for students joining any year group. Although admissions to most year groups are subject to availability, they approach children carefully into Years 11 and 13 as these years mark the second stage of two-year courses. The age of the applicant is calculated based on Spanish customs, using the birthday mark of 1 January. For applicants from different educational systems or countries, the entry year group is determined sequentially according to their previous level of education.
In exceptional circumstances, where an applicant may be facing challenges such as illness or time spent abroad, the school may offer a place one year lower than the applicant's age. They believe in fostering a diverse and dynamic school community where each student can contribute meaningfully and benefit from the opportunities this school offers. As circumstances change, this policy will be adjusted to ensure it remains relevant and effective for the King's College Murcia community.
