Kirby Star Allies

Kirby, with a few exceptions, has never been one to push the envelope. He's all about bright colors and adorable eccentricity. It's all about having fun with your buddies in this installment. There's no doubt that it tickles an itch as a multiplayer, platforming experience, and it wouldn't be worth debating if it were a £20 (or comparable) digital item. However, when compared to Zelda or Mario, it's difficult to justify paying full price for a game you can finish in an evening. Nonetheless, it remains at number 21 on the rankings.

It's difficult to build a list of improvements for a Kirby game because the franchise has never been about making substantial adjustments. However, the final few levels in this game are among the greatest in the series, so more of them, as well as more mini-games/modes, would be appreciated. Bring back some of the previous gimmicks, make use of all the modifications that have been made over the years, and stop making Kirby games so simple.
