Kizhi Island

This is a less well-known but tour-worthy location in Russia that you can visit in January. It has a beautiful open-air museum, which you may have guessed is the reason for its fame. It is a unique complex that houses important historical and cultural artifacts from Russia's past.

Kizhi Island's most unique feature is that it is entirely made of wood. There aren't many other materials in it, either. And this structure was constructed in the fourteenth century. If you visit Russia in January, you will notice a significant increase in the beauty of the country.
