Water from Aydin Creek and Buyuk Ay Creek drips through the cave's walls. The cave's entry is through a fossil inlet located on the cave's upper level. Similarly, the cave extends horizontally following the water. The underground cave system is 10 kilometers long and was originally thought to be the longest cave system in the world. There are also siphons, lakes, and debilitating regions that can become highly dangerous during rainy seasons.
