Kooreloo is a famous brand known for its distinctive and one-of-a-kind handbags. It was founded by artist and designer Lila Karagianni in 2014, who realized that combining European chic with Mediterranean traditions could create something special. Lila Karagianni began Kooreloo in 2014 and has since expanded her business exponentially. The label now has a presence across 27 countries with the latest acquisitions being Australia and New Zealand.

Kooreloo represents a fusion of Greek craftsmanship and modern sophistication. Their philosophy revolves around art, boundless creativity, timeless traditions, and individuality. The brand embraces the beauty of traditional craftsmanship by using natural materials and employing handmade techniques to craft their unique products.

Each bag is different from the last as they are made out of ‘kourelou’ – traditional woven rugs crafted from forgotten fabrics in Grecian homes. The material is used to create rich, textural pieces, interwoven with spontaneous splashes of colour.

Kooreloo offers a diverse range of bag styles, including chain bags, clutches, bucket bags, and backpacks, making them suitable for various occasions. Some designs lean towards simplicity, featuring a monochromatic palette and conservative accents like metal coins and chain straps.
