Kutztown Folk Festival

The Kutztown festival is one of the most popular in the United States. It began in the 1950s when three local academics wanted to commemorate the country's Pennsylvanian German community. It is America's largest festival! It is now in its 60th year and attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists each year.

As you approach the festival grounds and are surrounded by locals dressed in traditional costumes, with traditional music playing in the background, the cultural mood takes you.
