The Kyo Kara Maoh! manga series (titled Ky Kara MA no Tsuku Jiygy! (今日からマのつく自由業!) in Japanese) was created by Temari Matsumoto and debuted in the June 2005 issue of the monthly Asuka magazine on April 23, 2005 [4] and ended on July 23, 2016. The first volume of the manga was published on December 26, 2005, and a total of 21 volumes have been published. Despite not being a BL (boys love) manga, Takabayashi's Kyo Kara Maoh! has a lot of shounen-ai undertones. In this fantasy comedy, the harem consists of one boy surrounded by several attractive men. Have I piqued your interest? Kyo Kara Maoh! has a long but well-executed plot as well as beautifully drawn and endearing characters.
Yuri Shibuya was an ordinary high school student until his face was shoved into a toilet and he was transported to another universe. Yuri passes out and awakens in a world where no one speaks Japanese and everyone is a demon. And, much to Yuri's surprise, he is the all-powerful ruler of this great demon kingdom. As Demon King, Yuri strives to create a world in which humans and demons can coexist peacefully. That is, of course, easier said than done.
