Lacey's has been in the toy market for over 20 years. In 2000, negotiations started with Mattel, and the product was developed. Marvel products soon followed, then Disney in 2002. Laceys brings quality products to the market across the core segments it participates. Lacey's has always put its consumer first to ensure that their products meet their exacting standards and are unwilling to compromise in this area.
Lacey's specializes in bringing international brands and local licensed products to the South African market. Lacey's operates three core businesses: Party Products, Toys, and Children's Electronics. Every product placed on the market or manufactured is must subject to European standards and must pass all the tests required for that category. All self-developed products are sent to an independent testing company for review and assessment before any commitment is given to manufacturing. Lacey's has also successfully exported products to Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Mozambique, Kenya, Zambia, Ghana, Madagascar, Mauritius's, France, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
