Theresa developed an interest in skin after suffering from Acanthosis Nigricans. This skin issue occurred in high school and had a significant impact on her confidence. It took her several years and a lot of research to figure out the connection between her skin problems and the hormonal abnormalities produced by PCOS. Theresa learned a lot about skin care and skin care products while working at a local health food shop. She expanded her understanding of the health and beauty business by receiving her Cosmetology license in 2008.
