Lake Lucerne

The next position on the list of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland is Lake Lucerne, located in the country's central region. Archaeologists discovered the ruins of a Bronze Age settlement with artifacts dating to roughly 1000 BC while surveying the lakebed (during the construction of a pipeline) between 2019 and 2021.
