Lanquin cave
The Lanquin Caves are a vast network of caves that surround the Mayan town of Lanquin in Q'eqchi. Lanquin Cave, also known as the "Heart of Heaven," is one of the most beautiful caves in Guatemala, with a nearly 50-foot-high ceiling covered in stalactite formations and white limestone walls. The cave sparkles as a result of the minerals that form within it. As you progress deeper into the cave, you will notice a swarm of bats hiding in the darkness.
The layers of stalactites and sparkling limestone walls reflect the beauty of Lanquin cave, creating a natural picture for Lanquin cave that not every cave in Guatemala has. Lanquin's beauty is also enhanced by flocks of bats, which is a wild beauty of nature. Not only are there stalactites, limestone walls, and wild bats, but Lanquin cave has inherently brought the most beautiful features of nature.
