Lateral is an event management firm based in Sydney and Melbourne, with subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, and Hong Kong. It was created in 1996.

Corporate Events
Lateral Event Management is a full-service event management firm that creates and executes extremely imaginative and flawless corporate events. We've been executing numerous events for some of our customers for seventeen of our twenty-two years as the event agency of record for blue chip businesses. Our name, Lateral Event Management, says it all: we have a knack for combining educated lateral thinking with practical event management abilities to create successful events. We may be seen quietly producing high-impact, high-quality events of all sizes and complexity on budget, on time, and with the happy attitude that is a major feature of Lateral's culture on any given week.

Public Events
Lateral creates, produces, promotes, and tours big theatres and auditoriums with public events. We create new live stage shows that simultaneously educate, entertain, excite, and inspire audiences by inviting globally acclaimed personalities, each a global leader in their field, with whom we can collaborate to create new live stage shows that simultaneously educate, entertain, excite, and inspire audiences. This is referred to as 'intellectual entertainment.' Sir David Attenborough, Prof Brian Cox, Sir Michael Palin, American author Bill Bryson, and others have appeared on Lateral's broadcasts.

L'Étape Australia by Tour de France
Lateral will host the fourth annual L'Étape Australia by le Tour de France on Saturday, November 30th, in collaboration with the Tour de France and SBS, and with the assistance of Destination NSW. L'Étape Australia by le Tour de France is a one-of-a-kind road cycling event that gives amateur cyclists a taste of what it's like to ride in the Tour de France. The Tour de France's largest race conducted outside of France is L'Étape Australia.
