Linear Algebra and Geometry 1

With Linear Algebra and Geometry 1, you can learn: some fundamental principles that will be applied throughout the course. The majority of them are familiar from high school mathematics classes, while others are new; the latter will occur later in the course and will be discussed in greater depth at that time. Some basic notions concerning linear equations and systems of linear equations will be covered, as well as the geometry behind systems of linear equations.

In cases of systems with unique solutions, inconsistent systems, and systems with infinitely many solutions, you will learn how to solve systems of linear equations using Gaussian elimination (and back-substitution) and Gauss—Jordan elimination (parameter solutions). You'll discover how linear equation systems are employed in different disciplines of mathematics and the sciences.
