London: The UK's All-in-One Destination

While it's possible to plan a trip to the UK without going to London, it's not a good idea. The capital of the country is a big place with a lot of things to do. It's one of the best things to do in London if you want to learn about the UK's rich history. You can also see the Tower of London. The 1,000-year-old White Tower, with its fascinating displays of armor and weapons, and the Jewel House, where the Crown Jewels are kept, are two of the best things to see at the former palace and prison.

Whitehall Road in the city's center is also a must-see. It's where you'll find Big Ben and the parliament buildings as well as Westminster Abbey, where a lot of royal weddings have taken place. It's a good idea to visit another area of London, South Kensington, which is home to some of the city's best museums, as well as the famous Harrods department store. Check out Trafalgar Square, which is home to Nelson's Column and the National Portrait Gallery, as well.
