Topping the list of the Best Luxury Hotels in NYC is The Mandarin Oriental. It is the place to go if you want the ultimate in luxury. The hotel is known for its opulent features, including a huge spa and a 75-foot lap pool in the fitness center. The property is decorated in a stylish, opulent manner. The suites and guest rooms are similarly lovely.

Each room is rather large and has a sitting space in addition to a bed. If you choose to remain in and cook, the suites can have chef kitchens and separate dining rooms. However, it is situated close to the busy Columbus Circle, where there are stores, museums, parks, and theaters (hello, Lincoln Center).

Probably, the remaining indoors might not be your first choice given this excellent location. Especially if the hotel can arrange for you to take exclusive city tours. Personally, we enjoy stopping at the hotel's MO Lounge for a few cocktails in between excursions. If not for the beverages, then at least for the Central Park vistas.
