Mapu a Vaea
The Mapu a Vaea or "Whistle of the Noble" is known as natural blowholes on the island of Tongatapu in the village of Houma in the Kingdom of Tonga. The Mapu a Vaea is home to 5km-long holes along the coast near the village of Houma, which when hit by waves create beam-like effects. This is also one of the best tourist destinations in Tonga, and which a famous place that attracts photographers to visit to capture all the beautiful moments of shooting waves up to 30m.
Visitors can drive around the island before stopping at Mapu a Vaea, to catch this surreal moment, the ideal time to visit is around 4pm, a little difficult. Visitors should equip a pair of swimming shoes and a waterproof camera if they want to take the best souvenir photos. Besides, visitors got to see some agriculture as well as some very nice homes in the nearby area.
