Marco's Pizza is an American restaurant chain and interstate franchise located in Toledo, Ohio, that specializes on Italian-American food. It is operated by Marco's Franchising, LLC. On Starr Avenue in Oregon, Ohio, the first store opened. Pasquale "Pat" Giammarco, an Italian immigrant, started it in 1978. There are more than 800 Marco's Pizza franchise stores in 34 states and Puerto Rico, as well as the Bahamas and India, as of mid-2017. Marco's Pizza recently stated that it has doubled in size and aims to launch its 1000th location by the end of 2018.
