Mathpix

Mathpix is the first application that allows you to solve and visualize solutions by recognizing handwritten text, including complex formulas. Mathpix aims to replace outdated and expensive graphing calculators to provide free and engaging learning instruction for mathematicians worldwide.

Mathpix is one of the older apps compared to similar apps for solving math problems. It is able to recognize handwritten problems much earlier than Photomath. It is worth noting that the nature and working principles of both applications are very similar, however in general, the Mathpix service is designed with an older audience in mind. It can solve simple and uncomplicated quadratic equations, easily solve problems with fractional expressions, as well as integer solutions, logarithms, integrals, derivatives, etc. That's pretty much everything we learn in high school and college... You'll be particularly impressed with the ability to graph functions, thanks to the integration with the advanced graphing calculator, Desmos. None of the apps presented have this except Mathpix. The program scans and reads the problem in almost a second. Mathpix will send these conditions to the server and give an answer almost immediately. But sometimes errors do occur, although quite rarely. At the same time, users have access to tools for working with graph mode tasks such as editing input data, adding tables, making notes, and additional functions for few graphs.
