Mathpix is one of the older apps compared to similar apps for solving math problems. It is able to recognize handwritten problems much earlier than Photomath. It is worth noting that the nature and working principles of both applications are very similar, however in general, the Mathpix service is designed with an older audience in mind. It can solve simple and uncomplicated quadratic equations, easily solve problems with fractional expressions, as well as integer solutions, logarithms, integrals, derivatives, etc. That's pretty much everything we learn in high school and college...
