May Help You Learn Better
Guarana may help you learn and remember things, according to research. One study examined the impact of various guarana dosages on learning and mood. Participants either got zero, 37.5 mg, 75 mg, 150 mg, or 300 mg of guarana. The subjects who took either 37.5 mg or 75 mg of guarana scored the best on the exam. Given that guarana has modest concentrations of caffeine, it is thought that guarana's other chemicals may also have a role. Interesting studies also indicate that guarana can lessen cancer treatment-related mental tiredness without having a noticeable negative impact.
Another research contrasted guarana with ginseng, another substance that enhances the brain. Although guarana and ginseng both enhanced memory and test performance, guarana users focused more intently and finished activities more quickly. Additionally, research on animals has demonstrated that guarana can enhance memory.
