The SEACOMP story begins in 1989 with the establishment of Displaytech as a Hong Kong-based supplier of LCD modules. Eight years later, SEACOMP, a Displaytech sales office in San Diego, California, was established. Each year, they add surface-mount capabilities, PCB assembly services, tooling, and plastic injection molding to their services.

HDP Power was founded in 2008 to meet our customers' power needs. Then they established a design engineering team to assist with hardware and software engineering. In 2012, operations were consolidated, and SEACOMP took over as the parent company of the divisions. After reorganizing the company, they purchased a manufacturing facility in Dongguan, China, and renamed it MH MFG, the electronics contract manufacturing division. Today, they continue to evolve in product development, engineering, and manufacturing to meet the needs of their customers.
