Miami, Florida
Miami seemed to have it all: wonderful weather, a fascinating cultural history, vibrant nightlife, and stunning beaches. Miami distinguishes itself from other significant urban areas in the nation with its stunning waterfront background and vibrant Latin American influence.
The Art Deco Historic District's pastel-painted buildings, South Beach's atmosphere, and Little Havana's authentic Cuban cuisine are all popular tourist attractions. Other activities include visiting the Bayside Marketplace near the waterfront and the Vizcaya Museum, a National Historic Landmark situated on 28 acres of grounds with excellent formal gardens. The best season to visit Miami, in the opinion of many tourists, is winter. One of the busiest times of year for tourism is winter. December through February experience mild, sunny weather with highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s. There is also very little rain during this time. It is advisable to prepare ahead of time if you are visiting Miami in the winter as this is the busiest season. Look at the variety of upscale resorts nearby, and make sure to make reservations far in advance.
