Michael Caine

Sir Michael Caine CBE is a well-known British actor. Known for his unique South London accent, he has acted in over 160 films throughout a seven-decade career and is regarded as a British cinema hero. Caine's films have made over $7.8 billion worldwide as of February 2017.

Caine is the list's oldest member, having turned 90 just 18 months ago. He was a British sex icon in films like Alfie, but he was never pigeonholed by the limits that would have come with it, and he has since gone on to enjoy a career that has spanned over seventy years.

Caine has reintroduced himself to a new generation through his work with Christopher Nolan. The six-time Academy Award candidate (and two-time winner) has created a genuinely exceptional body of work. Even at the age of 88, he is still constantly working, accumulating a career that many regards as one of the most renowned cinema performers in history.
