He was a National Basketball Association (NBA) player for fifteen years, winning six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls. Michael Jeffrey Jordan played three seasons of college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels under coach Dean Smith. In 1982, he was a freshman on the Tar Heels national championship team. Jordan became the NBA's first billionaire player in 2016.
