She played the lead role and produced the mystery film Enola Holmes (2020) and starred in the movie Lord Godzilla (2019).

In 2016, Millie emerged as a phenomenon with the role of a girl with supernatural powers Eleven in “Stranger Things”. The series is ranked 25th on IMDb's list of the best TV series of all time with a score of 9.1/10 and of course, Millie Bobby Brown has a big part in the success of the 8-episode series. After the success with "Stranger Things", Millie Bobby Brown immediately lit up, becoming one of the most expensive child stars in Hollywood. The public was passionate about learning about her, and major magazines continuously invited Millie to appear on the covers. The role of Eleven in "Stranger Things" brought Millie many prestigious nominations and awards, most notably the "Best Actor in a Drama Series" award at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
