Miramar
Miramar, which translates from Spanish as "Look at the sea," is also known as "Overlooking the sea" in some sources. The Argentine resort is located on the Atlantic Ocean's coastline in the tranquil hamlet of Miramar, 40 kilometers from Mar Del Plata. The beach is located in the lovely lagoon of La Benelera, a quiet and peaceful location popular with families with children.
Miramar is a 12-kilometer-long beach with a wide beachfront. The sand is gritty and light golden in hue, with no shells or stones. Because of the numerous tides, the water can be muddy at times, but the seafloor is clean and soft, with no seaweed. The drop is relatively smooth, however, the depth changes. Miramar's shallow seas are located in the south and center of the beach. The depth increases in the north, which is why a surfing school and various aquatic attractions have opened there.
Miramar is also known for its extreme fishing, where you can catch white bream and Argentine sea bass.
