Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant hosted by the American organization Miss Universe. One of the most popular competitions in the world, with an estimated 500 million+ viewers in over 190 countries. Along with Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth, Miss Universe is one of the Big Four's international beauty pageants.
Miss Universe and its brand are now owned by Endeavor. Telemundo has licensed the broadcast rights to the competition for the next five years. The promotion of the competition is "a humanitarian issue and a voice that influences positive change in the world."
The current Miss Universe is Harnaj Sandu of India crowned Andrea Meza of Mexico on December 13, 2021, in Eilat, Israel.
