Mitsukake

Sixth Suzaku warrior, real name Juan My, is Mitsukake. He is also one of the best anime characters with healing abilities. The past of this kind-hearted doctor contains a great irony. He has virtually always used his abilities to heal visitors. He has only failed to save one person, though. And that one woman, Shoka, is the one with whom he truly fell in love. Despite carrying such a terrible burden of loss, Mitsukake nevertheless succeeds in protecting his Priestess and the other members of the Suzaku seven from severe harm.

Mitsukake is a highly accomplished healer with a background in medicine. But after an unpleasant incident, he gave up on his career in despair. When his beloved girlfriend became critically ill, Mitsukake was out of town and was unable to save her; as a result, she tragically perished. Mitsukake is forced to carry out his responsibilities as a member of the Suzaku Seven despite his unwillingness to pick up his healing business again. He is entrusted with helping Miaka in her mission to call Suzaku, as well as purifying the undead demon that his ex-girlfriend had turned into. He needs to put his pain aside and use his amazing healing abilities to make sure Miaka is successful.

However, he admits that he can only heal one person every day with this talent. Green bubbles that cure the wound or harm suddenly materialize as he extends out his left arm. Then his Suzaku mark becomes apparent. As demonstrated in the episode when Shoka changed into a demon, Mitsukake's power can exterminate a demon.
