Momotaro Jeans
Momotaro was established in 2006 as part of the Japan Blue Company and has since solely focused on producing high-quality denim. Momotaro still manufactures the majority of its jeans in Okayama's Kojima region. Momotaro jeans are constructed from 100% Zimbabwean cotton, which is noted for its high quality, durability, unique fading capabilities, and ability to retain indigo color. To ensure the requisite quality in their denim, the jeans are assembled by hand.
Momotaro Jeans features a vintage collection called "Going to Battle." This collection is inspired by vintage Japanese military apparel and includes a variety of denim jackets, pants, and shorts made to look like they were worn by soldiers during WWII. The "Going to Battle" line includes a variety of unusual and ingenious touches, such as secret pockets, reinforced stitching, and vintage-inspired hardware. The denim in the collection is manufactured using traditional Japanese techniques and is noted for its durability and comfort.
