After American food business 'Kraft Foods' chose to divide into two independent and publicly-traded companies: Kraft Foods for grocery items and Mondelez International for candy and snack products, the firm was founded in 2012. Mondelez acquired all of Kraft's old candy brands, swiftly establishing itself as one of the world's leading confectionery makers. The Deerfield, Illinois-based corporation is recognized for acquiring iconic confectionery brands from across the world and incorporating them into its corporate structures. The British Cadbury, German Milka, and Polish Prince Polo brands are all well-known examples. However, Mondelez also owns American brands like as Oreo. In 2018, the firm sold $11.8 billion in candies worldwide. It has a yearly turnover of roughly $36 million and operates in 80 countries.
