Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

This version, sometimes known as Monster Hunter Tri, was the third Monster Hunter generation release and gained critical praise. It included new features from its successor, Monster Hunter 3, such as the famed Switch Axe weapon, which switched between an axe and a sword and did additional damage to monsters. This edition was unique for including undersea victories, which some fans appreciated and some disliked. Unlike previous Monster Hunter titles, gamers experimented with contentious underwater systems.

The game included marine creatures with electric abilities and a novel ambience. While the originality in this version is impressive, history has shown that underwater role-playing games should be avoided. Nonetheless, this version brought the franchise back to home consoles, making it a game worth playing.
