Morguefile
"For creatives, by creatives," Morguefile is a free picture archive. The site was developed by Michael Connors in the early days of the Internet, in 1996, to serve as a free picture exchange for creative professionals and instructors to utilize in their work. We are still a community-based free picture site, and all photographs in the Morguefile database are free to download and use in any work, whether commercial or not. The images were submitted by a diverse group of people from all around the world, ranging from amateur photographers to pros.
This website is also a little unique. The photographs are not as well-curated or created as those on Unsplash or Gratisography. You'll see photos of strange individuals and common items, similar to how your aunt Sally let you into her Google Photos stream. Morguefile isn't the best place to go for large headline pictures, but if you just need a basic free photo of a youngster cleaning his teeth, here is the place to go.
