The CBCT, or Cone Beam CT, is a medical imaging procedure that creates a three-dimensional image of the tooth, bone, ligaments, and sinuses, among other things. They can observe the head and neck in incredible detail from several various planes of view with this form of x-ray. Traditional 2-dimensional x-rays have limitations in terms of diagnostic accuracy. Our Green Vatech CBCT is ecologically friendly and emits ultra-low dose radiation, reducing patients' unnecessary radiation exposure.
They can better analyze different angles of your mouth as well as the surrounding areas that can be affected by whichever therapy you pick using the CBCT machine. The CBCT helps them to see areas of concern that standard x-rays cannot. The CBCT can also be used to evaluate impacted teeth, dental implant placement, dental pathology, trauma, the TMJ joint, and the airway to treat obstructive sleep apnea.
