Established in 1947 by José María Busquets, MotoTrans is a revered figure in the annals of Spanish motorcycle manufacturing. Initially, the company embarked on its journey as an importer, specializing in introducing motorcycles from various manufacturers into the Spanish market. MotoTrans ventured into motorcycle manufacturing alongside its importation endeavors. One of its most notable manufacturing ventures was the production of Bultaco motorcycles in the early 1960s.

A defining moment was its collaboration with the illustrious Spanish motorcycle giant Bultaco. This partnership bore fruit in the form of the Bultaco Sherpa T, a trial motorcycle that swiftly ascended to acclaim. Manufactured by MotoTrans, the Sherpa T epitomized the essence of trial riding with its agile and lightweight attributes.

Though MotoTrans has since ceased its operations, its influence on the motorcycle industry is a cherished legacy.
