Mughsayl Beach
Mughsayl Beach is a lonely sandy cove in Oman's southern region, 40 kilometers south of Salalah. On three sides, this 7-kilometer-long beach is surrounded by hills, cliffs, and the ocean. Salalah, the country's second-largest city, reaps the most benefits from both worlds. You'll arrive at one of the world's most beautiful beaches, complete with unspoiled sand and water, after driving past rugged and spectacular cliff faces. Because of this, Mughsayl Beach is the most dramatic of the area's beaches.
At the beach, which is open all year, visitors and locals alike enjoy strolling along the shoreline, picnicking, football, and off-roading. Your stay will be made even more comfortable and enjoyable by the nearby coffee shops and tiny huts. Because there are no other facilities nearby, you must bring your own picnic equipment. A small fishing hamlet with a few houses is located near Al Mughsayl Beach.
When the weather is nice, it is the best time to visit. Because the heat in Oman during the summer months can reach 35-40 degrees, visiting during the cooler months of October to March is recommended.
