Museo Regional de Arqueología Maya

Museo Regional de Arqueología Maya is a small museum placed in Parque Arqueológico de Copán. The museum turned into inaugurated in 1939 to show off the artifacts accrued from the archaeological excavations of the historic town of Copan. Here, you could locate diverse portions of pottery, altars, ornately carved jade, and pics of the rulers of the Maya. Also preserved and showcased in the museum is the tomb of a scribe. Although small, the museum brings together the gathering of uncommon artifacts from the ruins of Copan beneath one roof.
