Muskegon

With 26 miles of sandy shoreline, Muskegon boasts the longest city on the western coasts of Lake Michigan. Numerous historic lighthouses as well as two state parks, including Hoffmaster State Park, may be found in the area. The park provides outdoor pursuits like hiking, camping, and dune climbing.

Additionally, Muskegon is home to a number of historical sites and museums, such as the restored houses at the Hackley & Hume Historic Site. Michigan's Adventure, the biggest theme park in the state, is located only a few miles from the city. Among the more than 50 rides available here are roller coasters, a water park with wave pools and slides, mini-golf, and go-karts.

Travelers who prefer to spend their vacations getting back in touch with nature are drawn to Muskegon. While Muskegon State Park is home to two campgrounds, several hiking and biking paths, and 26 miles of immaculate Lake Michigan beaches, there are many opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities like fishing and boating there. Ride the roller coasters at Michigan's Adventure or fly down the luge track at the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex for an even greater excitement.
