Nani

Nani's full name is Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha, he is a Portuguese footballer of Cape Verdean origin. Nani has been passionate about football since he was a child and he often plays football in the street after every hour home from school. After the 2010–11 season, Nani became a mature, experienced midfielder, with excellent personal technique, high speed, and both good shooting and passing. Therefore, Nani was considered one of MU's best strikers and passers that season.

Coach Ferguson once said of Nani that "I don't need to give Nani praise when the press has talked a lot about his progress. Only 24 years old this year, Nani has enough time and conditions to soon become a big star in the near future." Nani was also the youngest member of the Portugal U21 team at the European Under-21 Championship in the 2006 season, after which Nani also had two goals in a 2-1 win over Belgium. His superb form earned him a call-up from Luiz Felipe Scolari to the Euro 2008 squad alongside Manchester club team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

In 2016, he and the Portuguese team won the first Euro championship in history after beating France in the final. However, in 2017, he officially left the Portuguese national team after many years and started playing for the Venezia club in Serie A.
