Nio ET7
Nio, a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker, unveiled its flagship sedan, the ET7, at the 2021 Nio Day event. The ET7 has a range of up to 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) on a single charge, which is a significant improvement from its previous models. This range is achievable due to a new battery pack that employs more advanced battery chemistry and has a capacity of 150 kWh. Nio also claims that the ET7 can be charged to 80% in just 18 minutes using its proprietary charging network.
The ET7 has a modern and futuristic design, featuring a long hood and a low-slung roofline. The car is powered by a 150 kW electric motor that can produce 644 horsepower, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds. The car's maximum speed is rated at 200 km/h (124 mph).
Nio has also equipped the ET7 with advanced autonomous driving capabilities, including a lidar system that can detect objects up to 500 meters away. The car can self-drive on highways and city roads and will be able to park itself in the future. With its extended range, advanced autonomous driving features, and sleek design, the ET7 is expected to be a popular choice among Chinese consumers, who are increasingly embracing electric vehicles.
